International Department Central Committee of CPC

Beijing, June 6th—Liu Jianchao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Carlos Miguel Pereira, Cuban Ambassador to China who was going to leave his post.

The two sides said that China and Cuba are both socialist countries, and share the same ideals and beliefs. Both sides will continue to strengthen strategic communication, carry out practical cooperation in an in-depth manner, and strengthen coordination and cooperation in international affairs.
