Li Mingxiang Meets with a Delegation of Two Political Parties of Benin's Ruling Coalition

Beijing, June 1st — Li Mingxiang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of two political parties of Benin's ruling coalition led by Gerard Gbenonchi,Vice president of the UPR of Benin and François Janvier Yahouedeou, Secretary for communication of the BR of Benin.

Li spoke positively of the relations between the two Parties and two countries. He gave an in-depth introduction to the characteristics, major principles and global significance of China's modernization. And he also expressed China's willingness to work with Benin to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, strengthen personnel exchanges at all levels, deepen experience exchange in state governance and administration, enhance unity and cooperation, jointly oppose hegemonism and power politics, and build a community with a shared future for mankind.

The Beninese side said, the two parties of Benin's ruling coalition highly appreciate the great achievements of a Chinese path to modernization and hope to learn experience in state governance and administration from the CPC and explore a modernization path suited to its own national conditions. The Beninese side will firmly adhere to the One-China principle and work with the Chinese side to uphold international fairness and justice.
