Beijing, June 5th—Li Mingxiang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, attended here today an achievement exhibition of a meeting between young people from China and Latin America of 2023, which was themed on strengthening youth exchanges to contribute to the new era. Young leaders from the political parties, think tanks and media of 12 Latin American countries and young representatives from the Chinese side were present. Li said, facing the call of the era, young people from China and Latin America should enhance exchanges, learn from each other, and contribute wisdom and strength to the exploration of the path to modernization that suits respective national conditions, the promotion of the comprehensive cooperative partnership between China and Latin America in the new era, and the joint construction of a community with a shared future between China and Latin America. Youth from Latin America praised the great achievements of a Chinese path to modernization, spoke highly of the institutional advantages and global influence of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and expressed the willingness to actively play their role in safeguarding the everlasting friendship between China and Latin America, promoting win-win cooperation between China and Latin America, and creating a better future for China-Latin America relations.
