Qian spoke highly of the progress made in China-Vietnam relations and the exchanges between the two Parties. He emphasized that the Chinese side is willing to work with the Vietnamese side to implement the important consensus reached by the top leaders of the two Parties. Taking the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between China and Vietnam as an opportunity, both sides should strengthen strategic communication, consolidate traditional friendship, enhance political mutual trust, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation, and continuously elevate China-Vietnam relations in the new era to a new level.

Qian introduced the CPC's thematic education campaign on the study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era and expressed that the CPC is willing to strengthen the experience exchanges on party building with the CPV, so as to promote greater development of respective socialist causes.

Nguyen Manh Hung congratulated the successful convening of the 20th CPC National Congress and praised the tremendous achievements made by the CPC and China in various undertakings. He believed that under the leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core, the CPC and Chinese people will surely achieve the goals and tasks set at the 20th CPC National Congress. The Vietnamese side is willing to work with the Chinese side to strengthen practical cooperation in various fields, deepen the experience exchanges in state governance and administration, and continuously advance the relations between the two Parties and the two countries.
