Liu welcomed Ambrosetti to assume his new position in China. The CPC attaches importance to strengthening exchanges and mutual learning with Italian political parties, conducting dialogue among civilizations, inheriting and carrying forward the friendly traditions, and enhancing people-to-people and cultural exchanges, injecting new connotations into the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Italy. The Chinese side is willing to strengthen cooperation with the Italian side within various bilateral and multilateral frameworks to contribute to global peace, stability, and prosperity.
