Liu said, the traditional friendship between China and Pakistan has been strengthened over time. Shortly after the 20th CPC National Congress was successfully held, General Secretary Xi Jinping held a meeting with Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif who was visiting China, charting the course for the development of bilateral relations. As the world has entered a new period of turmoil and change now, it is of great significance for China and Pakistan to strengthen all-weather strategic cooperation. The Chinese side appreciates the Pakistani military's firm commitment to inheriting China-Pakistan friendship, and is willing to work with the Pakistani side to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, continue to firmly support each other on issues concerning each other's core interests, enhance cooperation in political parties, military, economy and trade, spread the voice of China-Pakistan friendship and promote the building of a closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future in the new era.

Liu said, the CPC maintains friendly relations with all parties in Pakistan. We are willing to give full play to the important role of inter-party channels, promote the experience exchange in state governance and administration through "party +" and other forms, promote the steady and long-term construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), help Pakistan with economic and social development, and help it improve people's livelihood. The Chinese side firmly supports the Pakistani side in combating terrorism and achieving unity and stability. It stands ready to, together with Pakistani side, strengthen coordination and cooperation in international affairs, jointly cope with challenges, safeguard international fairness and justice and the interests of developing countries, and provide stability and positive energy for the region and the world.

Calling China an “ironclad friend” of Pakistan, Sahir said, the friendship between the two countries is higher than mountains, deeper than oceans, stronger than steel and sweeter than honey. The Pakistani side thanked the Chinese side for supporting Pakistan in safeguarding its sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, and for the selfless assistance for Pakistan's economic and social development. Continuously deepening Pakistan-China all-weather strategic cooperative partnership is the cornerstone of Pakistan's foreign policy. The Pakistani side stands firmly with China. This has not and will never change. The Pakistani side will, as always, firmly adhere to the one-China principle, and firmly support the Chinese side's position on the Taiwan question, and issues related to Xinjiang, Xizang, and the South China Sea.

The Pakistani side highly admired the great vision of General Secretary Xi Jinping, and his efforts in leading the Chinese people to achieve huge development on all fronts, as well as highly appreciated China's role as a responsible major country in hotspot issues such as reconciliation between Saudi Arabia and Iran, and the resolution of the Ukraine issue and the Palestinian issue.
