Under the theme of "Pursuing modernization of harmony between humanity and nature — promoting green and low-carbon development", guests of this forum conducted in-depth exchanges on forward-looking theories and practical issues in the field of ecological advancement. Party and state leaders, foreign political heavyweights, leaders of national ministries and commissions, heads of international organizations, research institutions, and leading enterprises in green development delivered speeches, and more than 3,200 guests from 42 countries and regions attended the event.

The Guizhou's Achievements in Practicing Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Advancement Political Parties Roundtable, one of the thematic forums of the Eco Forum Global Guiyang 2023, was co-organized by the international exchange center of the IDCPC, the Foreign Affairs Office of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee, and the Party School of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee. Over 50 participants, including officials of political parties, civil society organizations, and media workers from Tanzania, Namibia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Poland, and other countries, as well as officials from the central and state organs and their relevant departments, local provincial party schools, and relevant departments of Guizhou Province, were present.
