Paul Mashatile, Deputy President of the ANC and Deputy President of South Africa, Meets with Liu Jianchao

Johannesburg, July 18th—Paul Mashatile, Deputy President of the African National Congress (ANC) and Deputy President of South Africa, met here today with Liu Jianchao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, on the sidelines of the BRICS Political Parties Plus Dialogue. Mashatile welcomed the CPC delegation attending the dialogue, and said that the ANC attaches great importance to the brotherly friendship with the CPC. He expressed the hope to further expand exchanges between the two Parties, promote cooperation between both sides in the fields of cadre training, people-to-people and cultural engagement, economy, and trade, and promote the development of relations between South Africa and China. Liu expressed support for South Africa in hosting the dialogue, and hoped that the dialogue will help strengthen coordination and cooperation among BRICS countries, and help the world hear more voices of the BRICS. The CPC is willing to further reinforce exchanges and cooperation with the ANC, and jointly promote the relations between the two Parties and the two countries to a new level. Enditem |
