Liu said, President Xi Jinping and President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi provided strong strategic guidance for the development of China-Egypt relations. The Chinese side is willing to increase high-level exchanges with the Egyptian side, give full play to the advantages of inter-party channels, deepen experience exchanges in state governance and administration, and continuously promote the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and the implementation of the outcomes of the China-Arab States Summit. The Chinese side congratulates Egypt on joining the BRICS, and is willing to strengthen coordination and cooperation with the Egyptian side in multilateral affairs, safeguard the common interests of developing countries, and promote world peace and development.

Hanafi said, the Egyptian side attaches great importance to developing the comprehensive strategic partnership between Egypt and China, and is willing to work with the Chinese side to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, intensify exchanges of high-level visits, strengthen exchanges between political parties, governments, legislatures and other institutions, deepen mutual learning of experience exchanges in state governance and administration, and promote cooperation such as the joint construction of the BRI. The Egyptian side appreciates the Chinese side's support for Egypt's participation in the BRICS mechanism, and believes that the expansion of BRICS will effectively safeguard the interests of developing countries. The Egyptian side is willing to strengthen cooperation with the Chinese side to jointly deal with regional hotspot issues.
