Liu congratulated FUNCINPEC Party on its good performance in Cambodia's seventh general election. He said that in recent years, China and Cambodia have witnessed frequent high-level exchanges, continuous deepening of political mutual trust and fruitful results in bilateral practical cooperation, which have brought tangible benefits to the two peoples. The Chinese side is willing to work with the Cambodian side to deepen the building of a community with a shared future so that China-Cambodia traditional friendship will be passed down from generation to generation and be carried forward.

Liu highly praised FUNCINPEC Party's firm adherence to a friendly policy towards China initiated by King Father Norodom Sihanouk.
