Li spoke positively of the relations between the two Parties and China and Syria, and introduced the scientific connotation, distinctive characteristics and world significance of Chinese modernization based on the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress in an in-depth manner. He said that the CPC attaches great importance to the friendly relations with the Baath Party of Syria and is willing to work with the Syrian side to implement the important consensus reached by President Xi Jinping and President Bashar al-Assad to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the two Parties and promote China-Syria relations for greater development.

Alhaded said, Syria and China are both countries with ancient civilizations, and boast a longstanding friendship between the two peoples. The Syrian side highly appreciates the important concepts and initiatives put forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping and is willing to further learn experience in state governance and administration from the CPC to better promote national development and prosperity.
