Li welcomed Hernandez, who led the delegation to attend a thematic forum on people-to-people connectivity of the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation. He spoke positively of the relations between the two Parties and the two countries, and said China is willing to work with El Salvador to implement the important consensus of the two heads of state, and promote bilateral practical cooperation in various fields for fruitful results. The CPC is willing to strengthen exchanges with the Nuevas Ideas, deepen experience exchanges in state governance and administration, and promote the sustained and stable development of China-El Salvador relations. China highly appreciates the Parlacen's adherence to the one-China principle and is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the Parlacen to jointly safeguard the rights and interests of developing countries.

Hernandez said, El Salvador is willing to strengthen cooperation with China in areas such as infrastructure construction, education, and environmental protection to better benefit the two countries and the two peoples. The Nuevas Ideas is willing to carry out multi-level exchanges and cooperation with the CPC to continuously improve respective governance capabilities. The Parlacen is willing to actively contribute to promoting cooperation between Central American countries and China in various fields.
