Liu said, in March of this year, President Xi Jinping put forward the Global Civilization Initiative, sincerely calling the world to deepen promotion of dialogue among civilizations and to advance human civilization through inclusiveness and mutual learning. President Xi proposed the Global Development Initiative, the Global Security Initiative, and the Global Civilization Initiative, outlining the path towards building a community with a shared future for mankind from three dimensions. These initiatives represent significant public goods provided by China to the international community. The United Nations Alliance of Civilizations has played a vital role in promoting dialogue among civilizations and religions, in fostering mutual respect and understanding, and in conflict prevention. The Chinese side is willing to strengthen the exchange of ideas and practical cooperation with the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, so as to facilitate mutual learning among different civilizations, enhance people-to-people bonds under the Belt and Road Initiative, and promote world peace and development.

Moratinos said, the world is currently facing severe challenges, including poverty, wars, ethnic conflicts, and climate change. President Xi Jinping's vision of a community with a shared future for mankind, the Belt and Road Initiative, the Global Development Initiative, the Global Security Initiative, and the Global Civilization Initiative provide important solutions to global problems. The Global Civilization Initiative, deeply rooted in Chinese culture while having a global perspective, advocates mutual respect, equality, and common prosperity among various civilizations, which aligns closely with the principles of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations. The United Nations Alliance of Civilizations is willing to strengthen cooperation with the Chinese side to ensure the implementation of China's significant global initiatives.
