Li Mingxiang Attends the Opening Ceremony of Shaping the Shared Future: CCM Young Leaders Workshop

On October 30th, the opening ceremony of Shaping the Shared Future: CCM Young Leaders Workshop was held at Mwalimu Julius Nyerere Leadership School in Tanzania. Li Mingxiang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, attended and addressed the event via video link together with Anamringi Macha, Deputy Secretary of the Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM). Chen Mingjian, Chinese Ambassador to Tanzania, was present.

Li spoke positively of the relations between the two Parties and the two countries, and introduced in an in-depth manner the scientific connotation, distinctive characteristics and world significance of Chinese modernization. He said, the CPC attaches great importance to the friendly relations with the CCM, and is willing to, together with the Tanzanian side, take the important consensus of the top leaders of the two Parties, intensify cooperation, deepen exchanges and promote the relationship between the two Parties to a higher level. It is hoped that the participants of the workshop will apply what they have learned to their work and contribute their wisdom and strength to the continued friendship between China and Tanzania and between China and Africa.

Macha spoke highly of the great achievements China has made under the leadership of the CPC, saying that China's experience and wisdom are worth learning, and believed that the workshop would play an important role in improving the capabilities of young leaders of the CCM. The CCM is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the CPC, and learn the experience in party building and state governance from the Chinese side to better promote national prosperity and development.
