Guo welcomed the delegation, which came to China for a study tour and the Global South think tank dialogue. Guo said, the Global South represents the vast majority of the world's population and accounts for half of the world's economic aggregate, serving as an important stabilizing and constructive force in the world with profound changes unseen in a century. China has always been a member of the Global South and is willing to work with the Global South countries to jointly contribute to peace, promote development, seek progress, discuss cooperation, realize modernization, and build a Global South community with a shared future.

George Simataa, Secretary to Cabinet of Namibia and Chair of Namibia Institute of Public Administration and Management, and others thanked the Chinese side for the long-term valuable support for the development of the Global South countries. They expressed the willingness to give full play to the unique role of think tank scholars, provide advice and suggestions for promoting South-South cooperation and the development of their respective countries, and contribute more wisdom and strength to the cause of world modernization and a bright future for human society.
