Sun Haiyan Meets with Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, Deputy General Secretary of Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist) and Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nepal

Beijing, November 27th—Sun Haiyan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, Deputy General Secretary of Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist) and Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nepal.

Sun said, China and Nepal enjoy a long-standing friendship, acting as partners and opportunities for each other in the pursuit of national development and prosperity. Both countries understand and support each other on issues related to each other's core interests and major concerns. The CPC is willing to continue close exchanges and cooperation with the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist) to make positive contributions to promoting China-Nepal relations and the well-being of the two peoples.

Gyawali said, the Nepali side firmly adheres to the one-China principle and will not allow any force to use Nepal's territory for anti-China activities. The Nepali side is willing to work together with the Chinese side to advance high-quality Belt and Road cooperation. The Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist) looks forward to strengthening exchanges and cooperation between the two Parties to facilitate the development of Nepal-China cooperation in various fields.
