Beijing, December 6th—Sun Haiyan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with a delegation of members of the Parliament of several political parties of Malaysia. The delegation was led by Wong Chen, Member of the Central Leadership Council of the People's Justice Party (PKR) of Malaysia and Chairperson for the Parliamentary Special Select Committee on International Relations and Trade. Sun said, China and Malaysia are good partners with mutual benefit and win-win results. The steady and strong China-Malaysia relations bring benefits to the people of the two countries and inject stability into the region. Next year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. It is hoped that the two sides will take this opportunity to further deepen exchanges and cooperation between political parties, promote high-quality joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, and promote the joint construction of a China-Malaysia community with a shared future for remarkable results.
