In the face of profound changes in the world situation, the global significance of China-Iran relations is more prominent. Under the strategic guidance of the top leaders of both sides, the two countries have consolidated political mutual trust and deepened practical cooperation, which has promoted common interests and safeguarded international fairness and justice.

The CPC attaches great importance to strengthening cooperation with Iran's Expediency Discernment Council, appreciates Iran's firm adherence to the one-China principle, and firmly supports Iran in safeguarding its core national interests. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of relations between the CPC and the Expediency Discernment Council. The Chinese side is willing to strengthen political mutual trust and mutual support with the Iranian side, expand practical cooperation in economy, trade and other fields, strengthen coordination on multilateral affairs, jointly oppose unilateralism and hegemonism, and push forward the development of China-Iran comprehensive strategic partnership.
