Liu congratulated the UAE on successfully hosting the COP28 conference and the Sir Bani Yas Forum, and said that under the leadership of President Xi Jinping and President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, China-UAE comprehensive strategic partnership has achieved comprehensive, rapid and in-depth development. The Chinese side is willing to take the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the UAE next year as an opportunity to deepen exchanges in various fields such as politics, economy and trade, local affairs, and people-to-people and cultural engagement, and promote the strategic cooperation between the two countries for in-depth development.

Abdullah said, in recent years, the UAE-China cooperation has been continuously expanded, covering an increasingly wide range of areas, with great progress made in bilateral relations. The UAE is satisfied with the high level of bilateral relations. It thanks China for the valuable support during the COVID-19 epidemic and highly appreciates China's important contributions to the successful convening of the COP28 conference.

The two sides also exchanged views on international and regional issues such as the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
