Liu said that China-Iran friendship has a long history. Under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, China and Iran have increasingly close exchanges at all levels and in all fields, including central and local governments, political parties, politics, economy, trade, culture and tourism. Exchanges between political parties play an important role in the development of state-to-state relations,helping enhance political mutual trust, mutual learning of ideas, practical cooperation and public opinion cooperation. Next year marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of relations between the CPC and the House of Parties of Iran. It is hoped that the two sides will strengthen political mutual trust and mutual learning of experience in state governance and administration, intensify exchanges of visits and exchanges, and continue to firmly support each other on issues involving each other's core interests.

The Chinese side is willing to promote the "political party +" cooperation model with the Iranian side and promote practical cooperation in economy, trade, energy, infrastructure, transportation, agriculture, health and the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). Both sides should build a bridge of people-to-people friendship, promote exchanges and cooperation in culture, education, sports, and tourism, support friendly exchanges between provinces, cities, and civil society groups, and promote China-Iran relations for stable and long-term development through people-to-people bonds, so as to better benefit the two peoples. The Chinese side appreciates the Iranian side's support forthe Global Development Initiative, the Global Security Initiative and the Global Civilization Initiative, and is willing to strengthen communication and coordination with the Iranian side in international affairs. The Chinese side attaches great importance to the Iranian side's important influence in Middle East affairs, supports the Iranian side in playing its role in maintaining regional peace and stability, and firmly safeguards international fairness and justice.

Heshmatian said, since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Iran and China, bilateral relations have maintained steady development. The leaders of both sides have met for many times successfully, leading the relations between the two countries to continuously achieve new progress. Iran will never forget China’s assistance and support for its development and construction. As the political organization responsible for coordinating and managing political party affairs in Iran, the House of Parties of Iran attaches great importance to the communication channels established with the CPC. It is willing to work with the Chinese side on the basis of mutual respect and non-interference in each other’s internal affairs and in accordance with the 25-year comprehensive cooperation plan signed between Iran and China to boost the development of Iran-China comprehensive strategic partnership. The Iranian side highly appreciates the Chinese side's proposal for a ceasefire since this round of Palestinian-Israeli conflict broke out, believes that China plays an important role in resolving the conflict, and is willing to strengthen cooperation with the Chinese side under the frameworks of the United Nations to jointly respond to crises and challenges.

Leaders of the Iranian political parties present said,"look east" has become a part of Iran's foreign policy. The Iranian side admires China's rapid development in science, technology, economy, academia, medicine, health and other fields in recent years. The political parties and political organizations of both sides have maintained high-level exchanges of visits and strengthened exchanges of experience in state governance, understanding and trust, which plays an important role in leading the development of bilateral relations. The world is currently facing new challenges. The Iranian side appreciates China's commitment to promoting stable development of the world and improving the well-being of people of all countries. The Iranian side supports the grand BRI, and believes it has helped the Middle East countries along the route to achieve good development and will achieve greater success. It is ready to strengthen cooperation with the Chinese side in multilateral mechanisms such as the BRICS, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and the International Conference of Asian Political Parties, jointly oppose hegemonism and power politics, and safeguard international fairness and justice. Iran is willing to make its own contributions to maintaining regional peace and stability.
