Liu said, shortly after the founding of the People's Republic of China, China and Poland established diplomatic relations. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations 74 years ago, relations between the two countries have developed steadily and healthily, with close exchanges at all levels and fruitful results in economic, trade, people-to-people and cultural cooperation. The Chinese side is willing to work with the Polish side to implement the important consensus reached by President Xi Jinping and President Andrzej Duda, deepen political mutual trust and exchanges in various fields, and continuously enrich the connotation of China-Poland comprehensive strategic partnership. The Chinese side is willing to deepen cooperation with Polish political parties and strengthen exchanges and mutual learning on issues of common concern. Poland is an EU member state with important influence in the Central and Eastern Europe. It is hoped that Poland will continue to make efforts for cooperation between China and the Central and Eastern European Countries (CEECs) and the development of China-European Union relations.

Jakub Kumoch said, Poland and China share a traditional friendship. Despite different political systems, the two sides stay committed to mutual respect, mutual benefit and win-win results. President Duda cherishes his profound friendship with President Xi Jinping. The two heads of state have led the steady development of Poland-China relations. Poland adheres to the one-China principle, and appreciates China's adherence to the principle of non-interference in other countries' internal affairs. It is willing to strengthen high-level exchanges with China, jointly build the Belt and Road Initiative, expand agricultural exports, and enhance people-to-people and cultural exchanges. The Polish Embassy in China is willing to play an active role in promoting inter-party exchanges and the development of Poland-China relations, and help the CEECs and European countries strengthen cooperation with China.

The two sides also exchanged views on international issues of common concern such as the Ukraine crisis.
