New York, January 9th—Liu Jianchao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Robert Thomson, CEO of News Corporation. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on the role of media in China-U.S. relations, the impact of social media on public opinion, trends in the development of artificial intelligence, China's new energy policies and other issues.
