Li Mingxiang Meets with a Delegation of People's Movement of Tunisia

Beijing, January 23rd—Li Mingxiang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of People's Movement of Tunisia led by Zouhair Idoudi, member of the political bureau of People's Movement.

Li positively evaluated China-Tunisia relations, and introduced the concept of building a community with a shared future for mankind in an in-depth way based on the spirit of the Central Conference on Work Relating to Foreign Affairs. He said, the CPC attaches great importance to the developing friendly relations with the People's Movement. The CPC is ready to, together with the Tunisian side, consolidate political mutual trust, deepen mutual learning of experience, promote practical cooperation, and enhance people-to-people bonds, so as to promote China-Tunisia friendly relations for new and greater development.

Zouhair Idoudi said, the Tunisian side highly appreciates President Xi Jinping's concept of building a community with a shared future for mankind, firmly adheres to the one-China principle, and is willing to deepen exchanges and cooperation with the Chinese side in various fields such as politics, economy and trade, health, culture, and tourism. The People's Movement hopes to further learn the advanced experience in party building and state governance from the CPC, strengthen cooperation in training cadres between the two Parties, and provide assistance for the development of relations between the two countries, to better benefit the two peoples.
