Beijing, April 17th—Sun Haiyan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today with a delegation of young elites from Pakistan.  

Sun said, China and Pakistan are all-weather strategic cooperative partners and time-tested iron brothers. In recent years, under the joint leadership of the leaders of the two countries, China-Pakistan relations have maintained high-level development momentum. The CPC is willing to further intensify exchanges with major political parties in Pakistan such as the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), strengthen exchanges and cooperation among youth, think tanks, media and other sectors, and jointly promote the building of a closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future in the new era.  

The Pakistani side said, Pakistan and China have a high level of mutual trust. Developing friendly relations with China and promoting the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people of Pakistan, and is the consensus of all parties and sectors of Pakistan. Pakistan is deeply encouraged and inspired by China's great achievements in promoting high-quality development. The Pakistani side hoped to learn the successful experience in modern agriculture, emerging industries and green economy from China in an in-depth way, and leveraged Pakistan's population and location advantages to attract more Chinese companies to invest in Pakistan and help Pakistan achieve development.
