Islamabad, October 15th—Song Tao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP).

Song Tao expressed that China-Pakistan friendship has a long-standing history and a profound foundation. For a long time, the Bhutto family and the PPP have made positive contributions to the friendly cause between the two countries. The CPC is willing to continue enhancing party-to-party exchanges with the PPP, so as to lay a solid political foundation for promoting the building of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and for deepening China-Pakistan all-weather strategic cooperative partnership.

Bilawal said that Pakistan and China are true good brothers and good partners. The PPP stands ready to inherit and carry forward Pakistan-China traditional friendship, deepen the friendship between the two Parties, and fully support the building of the CPEC, in a bid to push the relations between the two countries for sustained, sound and stable development.
