Beijing, November 15th—Liu Jianchao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held a video call here today with Dashzegviin Amarbayasgalan, Secretary-General of the Mongolian People's Party (MPP) and Chief Cabinet Secretary of Mongolia.

Liu said, since this year, China and Mongolia have conducted close high-level exchanges. Not long ago, President Xi Jinping met with President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit and reached important consensus on the development of bilateral relations. The once-in-a-century epidemic and the changes unseen in a century are intertwined at present, and the international situation is full of uncertainties and instabilities. As close neighbors, China and Mongolia should firmly grasp the right direction of the development of bilateral relations and build an example of international relations featuring mutual support and win-win cooperation. The CPC has a traditional friendship with the MPP and is willing to work with the MPP to implement the important consensus of the leaders of the two countries, deepen strategic communication, firmly support each other's core interests and major concerns, promote pragmatic cooperation in various fields and the projects related to people-to-people bonds, strengthen coordination in international affairs, and push China-Mongolia comprehensive strategic partnership for new progress.

Liu said, the 20th CPC National Congress was successfully held recently, which clearly specified the mission of the CPC on the new journey in the new era, and proposed comprehensively promoting the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese modernization. The Chinese side will continue to stay committed to its neighborhood policy of amity, sincerity, mutual benefit and inclusiveness and insist on promoting high-quality development and high-level opening up to the outside world. The success of the 20th CPC National Congress has opened up new prospects for the further development of China-Mongolia relations. The Chinese side is willing to strengthen experience exchange in state governance and administration with the Mongolian side, and firmly support each other to follow the development paths that suit our own national conditions. The Chinese side is willing to provide more opportunities for all countries in the world, including Mongolia, through its own development, practice true multilateralism and join hands to build a better world.

Amarbayasgalan warmly congratulated the CPC on the success of the 20th CPC National Congress and embarking on a new journey to achieve the Second Centenary Goal. He said, the CPC has led the Chinese people to achieve great success in China's development over the past decade and made important contributions to promoting world development. Mongolia and China are good neighbors, good friends and good partners. The Mongolian side firmly adheres to the one-China principle and is willing to strengthen the integration of development strategies with the Chinese side, promote cooperation in various fields such as trade, economy, port construction and work related to young people between the two countries, so as to promote in-depth and concrete development of bilateral relations. The MPP and the CPC have long maintained close exchanges, and inter-party relations are an important part of bilateral relations. It is hoped that the two Parties will continue to strengthen mutual political trust and experience exchange in state governance and administration, enhance cooperation in international and multilateral affairs, and jointly promote regional peace and development.

Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, was present.
