On September 12th, the CPC and the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) of Azerbaijan held the themed conversation in governance philosophy "seek happiness for the people" in Beijing to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of relations between the two Parties. More than 80 representatives from China and Azerbaijan attended the meeting.

Song Tao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, said that since the CPC started to exercise governance in China 70 years ago, the CPC has always worked hard to meet people's desire for a better life, and insisted on development for the people and relying on the people. The CPC has united and led the Chinese people in realizing a miracle in the history of human development. Now the CPC is carrying out the themed education campaign "keeping in mind our Party's founding mission," in a bid to consolidate close ties between the Party and the people, and better safeguard and develop the fundamental interests of the people. The CPC is willing to enhance exchanges and mutual learning of governance philosophy with the NAP to further benefit the two countries and peoples.

Representatives from Azerbaijan expressed warm congratulations on the great achievements the CPC has made over the past 70 years. They said that the NAP highly recognizes the CPC's people-centered development philosophy, and believes that this is one of the fundamental reasons why the CPC can govern China for a long time.
