Beijing, March 24th—Liu Haixing, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today with a delegation of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) led by Maria Drobot, Member of the Presidium of the CPRF Central Committee and Secretary of the CPRF Central Committee. 

Liu said, under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Vladimir Putin, China-Russia relations have been steadily advancing. The two countries enjoy strategic independence, high political mutual trust and close cooperation in actions, which reflects the essence of a new type of international relations and represents the direction of a new type of major country relationship. The CPC and the CPRF share the same ideals and have maintained institutional friendly exchanges and cooperation for a long time. The relationship between the two Parties has become an important part of China-Russia relations in the new era. The CPC is willing to work with the CPRF to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, enhance high-level exchanges, strengthen exchanges and mutual learning of ideas and concepts, promote cooperation in areas such as women, youth, media and localities, and intensify coordination and cooperation on multilateral occasions of international political parties to contribute to the high-level development of China-Russia relations. Liu also briefed on the CPC's education campaign to help officials gain a correct understanding of what it means to perform well and act accordingly and the 15th Five-Year Plan. 

Drobot said, the current Russia-China relations have reached an unprecedented new height, with fruitful results from cooperation in various fields. The CPC has led China's economic and social development to great achievements, earning worldwide respect. The CPRF attaches great importance to studying and drawing on the experience of China's construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and closely follows China's implementation of the outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan. The CPRF is ready to strengthen exchanges at all levels with the CPC, deepen exchanges and mutual learning of ideas and theories, and promote cooperation in areas such as localities, economy and trade, and training to better promote the development of relations between the two Parties and the two countries.
