Beijing, April 9th—Liu Haixing, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today with Khaled Nazmy, Ambassador of Egypt to China.

Liu said, under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi, the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Egypt has enjoyed in-depth and solid development, steadily moving towards the goal of building a China-Egypt community with a shared future in the new era. Inter-party exchanges are an important component of China-Egypt relations. The CPC is willing to further deepen friendly exchanges with political parties and organizations in Egypt, strengthen political dialogue and mutual learning of concept, and leverage the "political party+" platform to promote pragmatic cooperation and people-to-people exchanges between the two countries, so as to make new contributions to the relations between China and Arab countries, and China-Africa relations.
Nazmy said, this year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Egypt and China, and the bilateral relationship has become a model for relations among the Global South countries. Egypt adheres to the one-China principle and is willing to work with China to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, strengthen the alignment of development strategies, deepen cooperation in areas such as finance and tourism, and promote the development of relations between Arab countries and China, and between Africa and China. The Egyptian Embassy in China is ready to maintain close communication with the IDCPC to promote exchanges and cooperation between political parties.
