The International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC) held the "Tracing the Original Aspiration Through the View of Performance" Dialogue Between the CPC and Foreign Political Parties at the Museum of the Communist Party of China on June 29th. Liu Haixing, Minister of the IDCPC, attended the dialogue and delivered a keynote speech. Over 400 people, including political party representatives from 36 Asian and African countries, and CPC representatives from the Working Committee for Central and State Organs, the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Office of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) and the National Commission of Supervision (NCS) at the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee, and other relevant units, attended the event. 

Liu said that this year marks the 105th anniversary of the founding of the CPC. Currently, the CPC is carrying out an education campaign on establishing and practicing the correct view on governance performance, guiding Party members and officials to uphold building the Party for the public good, delivering benefits to the people, making sound and scientific decisions, and working diligently with concrete actions, so as to deliver real results that stand up in practice, in the eyes of the people, and over the course of time. The correct view on governance performance of Chinese Communists is embodied in the value pursuit of putting the people first, the spiritual quality of seeking truth from facts, the historical responsibility of forging ahead in a continued effort, and the distinct character of conducting self-reform. 

Liu noted that since the beginning of the new era, General Secretary Xi Jinping has led Chinese Communists in making theoretical innovations around the question of the times: "What kind of long-term Marxist governing party should be built and how such a Party should be built, "thereby formulating Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building. The CPC stands ready to work with the political parties of all countries to deepen the exchange of experience in party governance and party thriving, jointly exploring better ways to improve people's livelihoods and rally public support by practicing the Party's original mission of working for the well-being of the people, jointly make new contributions to the progress of human political civilization by enriching the practice of party governance through mutual learning, jointly promote the development and progress of human society by forging ahead in modernization with the resolve to uphold fundamental principles and break new ground, and jointly create a bright future for the people of all countries by promoting solidarity and cooperation in building a community with a shared future for humanity. 

Foreign guests at the dialogue warmly congratulated the CPC on its 105th anniversary, and spoke highly of the achievements made by the Chinese people under the leadership of the CPC in economic development, scientific and technological innovation, poverty alleviation, and state governance. They said the CPC's education campaign on establishing and practicing the correct view on governance performance embodies the people-centered development philosophy and provides valuable insights for political parties committed to long-term governance in further improving their governing capacity and winning public support. Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building is of profound significance for the times and the world, and it offers a profound answer to the major historical question of how a Marxist governing party can win the support of the people and lead its country to modernization. They stand ready to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the CPC, promote practical cooperation across all sectors through political party channels, deepen mutual learning and experiencesharing on organizational building, serving the people, and youth education, and join hands in addressing common challenges. 

Prior to the dialogue, Chinese and foreign guests jointly visited the Museum of the Communist Party of China, and witnessed the presentation of the "50 Years of Glorious Party Membership" medal to veteran Party members of the IDCPC. 

Vice-ministers of the IDCPC, including Chen Zhou, Sun Haiyan, Lu Kang, Ma Hui and Jin Xin, and Shan Weiqiang, Member of the Working Committee for Central and State Organs and Head of its Organization Department, as well as others attended the relevant activities.
