Beijing, August 28th—Hu Zhaoming, Spokesperson of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, announced here today that upon the invitation of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Tran Thanh Man, Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam, Zhao Leji, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), will lead a delegation of the CPC and the Chinese government to visit Vietnam from August 31st to September 2nd to attend an event celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and co-chair the first meeting of the China-Vietnam joint committee of the legislative bodies with the Vietnamese side.
