Beijing, February 5th—Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met here today on the afternoon with visiting delegation led by Carolina Cosse, Head of the Broad Front and Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining of Uruguay.

Li expressed that both China and Uruguay are good friends and partners treating each other equally and sharing mutually beneficial cooperation. The CPC is willing to take the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries as a new starting point to enhance communication and cooperation with the Broad Front, so as to promote China-Uruguay strategic partnership to a new stage. Li also introduced Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress.

Cosse said that Uruguay hopes to deeply research and learn from Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, deepen experience communication on party governance and state administration with the CPC and elevate Uruguay’s national governance, in a bid to advance the sustainable development of its economy and society.
