At the invitation of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party of (PSOE), Hao Ping, Alternate Member of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the Party Committee of Peking University, led a CPC delegation to visit Spain from March 6th to 9th, where he promoted the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress.

During the visit, Hao respectively met with Jose Luis Abalos, PSOE Secretary of Organization, Ignacio Sánchez Amor, PSOE Spokesperson at the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Congress of Deputies, De Santa Ana, Spokesperson of the People’s Party (PP) at the Congress of Deputies for European Union affairs and Belén Hoyo Julia, PP spokesperson at the Congress of Deputies for Latin American affairs. Hao also attended the special briefing session on the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress, and comprehensively introduced the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress to all circles of Spain including political parties, Cortes Generales, think tanks and media. Hao mainly expounded the great significance, historical status and rich connotations of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.

All circles of Spain spoke positively of the epochal and world significance of the 19th CPC National Congress and expressed their willingness to work with China to advance mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries in various fields, so as to better facilitate world peace and development.
