Beijing, September 6th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with a cadre study group of Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle(PDI-P) headed by Andreas Pareira, Chairperson of Human Development and Culture of the PDI-P.
Qian congratulated Indonesia on successfully hosting the Asian Games and said that the CPC is willing to intensify exchanges with major Indonesian political parties including the PDI-P, learn from each other's experience in state governance and administration, and promote local pragmatic cooperation to promote the continued development of China-Indonesia relations.
Andreas said that the PDI-P attaches great importance to developing friendly and cooperative relations with the CPC and looks forward to promoting long-term, healthy and stable development of Indonesia-China relations through inter-party exchanges.
