From September 3rd to 6th, Luo Huining, Member of the CPC Central Committeeand Secretary of the CPC Shanxi Provincial Committee, led a CPC delegation to visit Germany and met with Olaf Scholz, Vice Chancellor of Germany and Finance Minister and Lars Klingbeil, General Secretary of Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD).

Luo expressed that the Chinese side is willing to continuously strengthen its exchanges with the SPD and constantly elevate the level of China-Germany all-round strategic partnership. The German side expressed that it attaches great importance to developing the relations between the two Parties and the two countries and hopes to further deepen bilateral exchanges and cooperation in various fields.

During his stay in Germany, Luo also met with government representatives from Nordrhein-Westfalen and Bavaria, attended the arriving ceremony of a China-Europe railway express setting off from Shanxi, a conference of cooperation in economy and trade and talents between Shanxi of China and Germany and other activities.
