Beijing, December 7th—Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a joint cadre study group consisted of the Barbados Labour Party, Jamaica Labour Party, People's National Party of Jamaica and Progressive Reform Party of Suriname.

Speaking positively of relations and party-to-party exchanges between China and Caribbean countries, Li expressed that the CPC is willing to strengthen communication and exchanges with political parties of the Caribbean countries, and promote China-Caribbean cooperation in building the Belt and Road Initiative.

The study group expressed that the political parties of the Caribbean countries firmly uphold the one-China policy, stand ready to learn from the CPC’s experience in state governance and administration, and advance Caribbean-China cooperation in various fields under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative to promote common development.
