Beijing, December 10th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with Reinhard Bütikofer, Co-chair of the European Green Party (EGP).

Qian praised Bütikofer for his long-term efforts in pushing China-Germany, China-EU cooperation and inter-party exchanges, and hoped that the EGP will continuously make contributions to the sound development of China-EU relations and relations between the two Parties.

Bütikofer expressed that China is an important strategic partner of the EU. The EGP will, as always, push the exchanges between the two Parties and the in-depth development of EU-China relations.
