Beijing, March 28th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Bernardino Regazzoni, Swiss Ambassador to China.

Qian said that in recent years, China-Switzerland relations have maintained a sound momentum of development with close high-level exchanges and deepened exchanges and cooperation in various fields. The increasing exchanges between political parties of the two sides have played a positive role in promoting the development of bilateral relations.

Regazzoni said that Switzerland attaches great importance to relations with China and hopes to further strengthen bilateral exchanges at all levels and pragmatic cooperation under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.
