Nanchang, November 21st—Li Mingxiang, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of the Rally of Houphouëtists for Democracy and Peace (RHDP) of Côte d'Ivoire led by Anne Désirée Ouloto, RHDP Deputy Executive Secretary for External Relations and Minister for Health and Public Hygiene of Côte d'Ivoire.
Li conveyed Minister Song Tao’s warm greetings, introduced development achievements for the past 70 year since the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the spirit of the fourth plenary session of the 19 CPC Central Committee, and exchanged views on strengthening the relations between the two countries and the two Parties with the foreign guest. Li said that the CPC is willing to work with the RHDP to strengthen exchanges, better give play to the political leading role of the ruling parties on the state-to-state relations, and promote the building of a stronger China-Africa community of shared future.
Ouloto made positive comments on the great achievements China has made since the founding of the People’s Republic of China 70 years ago and on the great significance of the fourth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, saying that President Alassane Ouattara and the RHDP attach great importance to relations with China and are willing to learn from the experience of the CPC in party governance and state administration to promote common development and bring benefits to the two peoples.
