Beijing, December 3rd—Li Mingxiang, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of the All Progressives Congress (APC) of Nigeria head by Adams Oshiomhole, APC National Chairman.

Li made positive comments on bilateral relations and introduced the CPC’s experience in its 70 years of governance. He said China is willing to establish relations with the APC on the basis of independence, full equality, mutual respect and non-interference in each other's internal affairs, and put forward specific suggestions on future exchanges between the two Parties.

Speaking highly of the great achievements made by the People's Republic of China in the 70 years since the founding of the People's Republic of China, Oshiomhole said that the APC hopes to take this visit as an opportunity to open a new chapter in friendly relations with the CPC. Nigeria is willing to learn from the experience of the CPC in state governance and conduct exchanges and cooperation in various forms with China in anti-corruption and poverty alleviation.
