Beijing, December 6th—Li Mingxiang, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a study group of the National Executive Committee of the African National Congress (ANC) of South Africa headed by Njabulo Nzuza, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs and ANC Youth League Secretary-General.

Li conveyed the warm greetings from Minister Song Tao, introduced the spirit of the 4th plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee as well as China’s principled stance on the issue related to Hong Kong. He said that China stands ready to work together with South Africa to implement the important consensus reached by the top leaders of the two Parties, increase high-level exchanges between the CPC and the ANC, deepen exchanges of experience in state governance, strengthen multilateral cooperation and push forward the China-South Africa comprehensive strategic partnership.

Nzuza spoke highly of the significance of the 4th plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, saying that the ANC is willing to learn from the experience of the CPC in party governance and state administration, and further promote the mutually beneficial and win-win development of bilateral relations. He stressed that South Africa is firmly opposed to any external interference in China's internal affairs under the pretext of the Hong Kong-related issue.
