Beijing, December 24th—Zhu Rui, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with Hussam Al Husseini, Jordanian Ambassador to China.

Speaking positively of China-Jordan relations, Zhu welcomed Husseini on his assumption of office in China and said that the CPC is ready to strengthen friendly exchanges with the Jordanian side and strive for sustained development of China-Jordan strategic partnership.

Husseini said that the Jordanian side attaches great importance to developing relations with China and is willing to further deepen the cooperation between the two countries within the framework of jointly building the Belt and Road Initiative for the benefit of the two peoples.
