Beijing, November 20th — Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with Saidzoda Zohir Ozod, the newly-appointed ambassador of Tajikistan to China.

Qian welcomed Saidzoda on his assumption of the new post in China and briefed him on the spirit of the fifth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee. Qian expressed that the Communist Party of China (CPC) is willing to further strengthen intra-party exchanges between the two countries and jointly promote the implementation of the important consensus reached between the two heads of state, so as to continuously move forward China-Tajikistan comprehensive strategic partnership.

Saidzoda spoke highly of China’s brilliant achievements made during the 13th Five-Year Plan period (2016-2020), highly appreciated the important results and significance of the fifth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, expressed the willingness of all political parties in Tajikistan to learn experience in governing the party and the country from the CPC, and actively contribute to the development of Tajikistan-China relations.
