Beijing, April 1st—The China-Arab States Young Leaders Forum, which was hosted by the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, concluded via video link. Young politicians of more than 60 political parties and political organizations from 17 Arab countries attended the closing ceremony. Zhu Rui, Assistant Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, attended and addressed the closing ceremony.
Abbas Zaki, Member of Fatah Central Committee and Head of the Central Committee’s Relations with China and the Arab World Commission, and other leaders of the Arab political parties warmly congratulated the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), and reiterated their firm commitment to supporting China’s position on issues related to Xinjiang and Hong Kong. The Arab side looked forward to strengthening exchanges and cooperation among young leaders with China, so as to promote the development of Arab-China strategic partnership.
Zhu Rui said, the Chinese and Arab representatives had in-depth exchanges and reached important consensus on issues such as the opportunities and challenges for Chinese and Arab young people, national development and youth responsibilities, and the role of young people in promoting the China-Arab strategic partnership. Both sides expressed the expectation of strengthening exchanges between the youth of the two sides, and voiced the determination of upholding international equity and justice. The Chinese side appreciates the Arab side’s good wishes for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, and is willing to work with the Arab countries to build the China-Arab States Young Leaders Forum into a new platform for China-Arab cooperation and youth exchanges, so as to contribute wisdom and strength of the young people to the building of a China-Arab community with a shared future.
