Beijing, July 13th—Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held video talks here today with Bernard Grech, Leader of the Nationalist Party of Malta.

Guo introduced the important spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s speech at a ceremony marking the centenary of the Communist Party of China and his speech at the CPC and World Political Parties Summit, saying that the CPC is willing to work with the Nationalist Party of Malta to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning, boost practical cooperation between the two countries in the Belt and Road cooperation and other fields, and push forward the development of China-Malta relations.

Grech congratulated the CPC on the centenary, and spoke highly of the remarkable achievements the Chinese people have made under the leadership of the CPC. He said the Nationalist Party of Malta attaches great importance to the exchanges with CPC, and is willing to continue to actively push exchanges and cooperation between our two countries, so as to contribute to China-Malta relations and China-European Union relations.
