Li Mingxiang Holds a Video Call with Mulbah K. Morlu, Jr., CDC National Chairman of Liberia

Beijing, April 28th—Li Mingxiang, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held a video call here today with Mulbah K. Morlu, Jr., National Chairman of Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) of Liberia.

Li spoke positively of the relations between the two countries and two Parties, and praised the Liberian side for firmly following the one-China principle. Li said, the CPC is willing to, together with the CDC, consolidate and expand friendly exchanges, deepen experience exchange in state governance and administration, strengthen coordination on international affairs, and promote mutually beneficial cooperation in such areas as economy, trade and people-to-people and cultural engagement, so as to better benefit the two peoples. Li also introduced the CPC’s achievements and experience in state governance and administration in the new era. He said, under the strong leadership of CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, China is confident in securing a new victory of building a modern socialist country in all respects.

Morlu sincerely admired the great development achievements made by the Chinese people under the leadership of the CPC, and said the CDC is willing to learn the successful experience in party building, poverty alleviation and other aspects from the CPC, continuously enrich the connotation of Liberia-China comprehensive cooperative partnership and jointly build a high-level China-Africa community with a shared future.
