Beijing, May 28th—Chen Zhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the morning with Carlos Fernández de Cossio, Deputy Foreign Minister of Cuba.  

Chen made positive comments on the relations between the two Parties and the two countries, saying that the Chinese side is willing to work with the Cuban side to implement the important consensus of the top leaders of the two Parties and the two countries, promote new development of China-Cuba relations in the new era through deepening exchanges and cooperation between the two Parties, and jointly build a community with a shared future between China and Cuba.  

Carlos Fernández de Cossio said, Cuba and China are socialist countries and the relations between the two Parties have played an important role in promoting the development of bilateral relations. The Cuban side is willing to continue to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning of experience in party building and state governance with the Chinese side to promote the socialist causes of the two countries.
