Ma Hui Meets with a Delegation of Te Whānau o Waipareira and Whānau Ora Commissioning Agency of New Zealand

Beijing, June 18th—Ma Hui, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation led by John Tamihere,  CEO of Te Whānau o Waipareira and Whānau Ora Commissioning Agency of New Zealand.  


Ma said, since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and New Zealand, the two sides have pushed cooperation in various fields for substantial progress in the spirit of mutual respect, mutual tolerance, focusing on cooperation and benefiting the people. The Chinese side is willing to strengthen communication and dialogue with all sectors of New Zealand, strengthen exchanges between political parties, business circle and non-governmental exchanges, further enhance mutual trust, deepen practical cooperation in economy and trade, and promote mutual benefit and win-win results.  

Tamihere said, Te Whānau o Waipareira and Whānau Ora Commissioning Agency appreciates the historic achievements of China's economic development. It is willing to strengthen practical cooperation with the Chinese side, promote exchanges in economy, trade, culture and sports, and jointly enhance the well-being of the people of the two countries.
