Beijing, August 5th—Li Mingxiang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met here today with a delegation of senators of Jordan headed by Issa Murad, Chairman of the Senate Jordanian-Chinese Friendship Committee. 

Li gave an in-depth briefing on the spirit of the third plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, saying that the Chinese side is willing to work with the Jordanian side to implement the important consensus reached by President Xi Jinping and King Abdullah II, firmly support each other, deepen practical cooperation, strengthen communication and coordination on international and regional affairs, and push China-Jordan relations to a new level. 

Murad said, Jordan and China have long supported each other on the road of pursuing prosperity and development. The Jordanian side is willing to strengthen experience exchanges in state governance and administration, deepen practical cooperation in various fields and welcome China to play a bigger role in safeguarding peace and stability in the Middle East.
