Beijing, October 21st—Chen Zhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the morning with Mieszko Pawlak, Undersecretary of State of the Chancellery of the President of Poland. Jakub Kumoch, Polish Ambassador to China, was present.
Chen spoke positively of China-Poland relations and the results of cooperation in various fields. He said the two sides should take the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations as an opportunity to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, carry forward the traditional friendship, promote practical cooperation, explore cooperation in emerging fields, and promote China-Poland comprehensive strategic partnership for in-depth development.
Pawlak said, China is a major and influential country in the world. President Andrzej Duda attaches great importance to developing relations with China. The Polish side hopes to continue to strengthen high-level exchanges between the two countries, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, and promote Poland-China relations for healthy and stable development.
